New App - If you haven't heard, Bulbapedia has released its official Android application! Check it out on the Google Play Store for on-the-go access to Pokémon information.

ARMS Direct - Nintendo aired its ARMS Direct presentation on May 17 which showed a more in-depth look at the game, including the basic gameplay, game modes, the fighters, and the announcement of the ARMS Global Testpunch, taking place over two weekends between May 26-28 and June 2-4 (see here for more info). The Direct ended with a trailer for the single player campaign in Splatoon 2, and in Europe (also confirmed afterward for Japan) the announcement of a Splatoon 2 console bundle and themed accessories, including a carrying case, Neon Pink and Neon Green Joy-Con, and a "Splatoon 2 Edition" Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Switch in April - The Nintendo Switch launch in March was one of Nintendo's biggest console launches ever, and the momentum continued into April. According to NPD Group sales data, the Nintendo Switch was once again the best-selling hardware for the month in North America, with over 280,000 units sold. On top of that, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the best-selling game in April, selling over 550,000 total units (460,000 physical copies alone, and over only two days at that!). According to GameStop, the Switch's US two month sales have exceeded those of the Wii in the same period. In Japan, numbers released by Famitsu also showed the Switch as the top-selling hardware at 234,817 units, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the best-selling game with 280,229 copies.
Switch Production - Due to strong demand, sources have reported that Nintendo will produce 18 million Switch units through the fiscal year ending March 31, an increase from the 10 million that was previously expected.

E3 2017 - This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo will take place June 13-15, and Nintendo has plenty of exciting information to reveal. Nintendo's E3 show will start with the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 presentation at 9 AM (PT) on the 13th, which will focus on Super Mario Odyssey and other Nintendo Switch games releasing this year. Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 will be returning this year to showcase new and upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch games. Finally, Nintendo will be hosting tournaments for ARMS and Splatoon 2. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - Following a leak on May 23rd, sources at Ubisoft have seemingly confirmed the crossover, of which more details are expected to be revealed at E3. Learn more at the Super Mario Wiki.
Nintendo Stock Soars - Following Capcom's announcement of Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. for Japan, Nintendo's stock value increased by 5.48% to ¥33,510, a market value increase of around US$2.2 billion and the highest the company's stock has been at since 2010.
