NIWA News
- 8th Anniversary! - This month marks NIWA's 8th birthday! NIWA was jointly founded on February 14, 2010 by Bulbapedia, Zelda Wiki, and Super Mario Wiki. We now have over 25 awesome member wikis working hard to bring the community great coverage of their favorite Nintendo games. Here's to many more years!
- New Italian Members! - A welcome to the first Italian members of NIWA! The Pokémon Central Wiki and Italian Super Mario Wiki have joined NIWA together, forming the group known as Progetto Niwit.
- Promotions - On the Fire Emblem Wiki, L95 and PikaSamus have been promoted to administrator. On Icaruspedia, Alex95 has been promoted to administrator as well. On WiKirby, Fubaka has been promoted to Patroller. Congratulations to all!
Nintendo News
- Nintendo Direct Mini - Following strange hints by Nintendo, a Nintendo Direct Mini was released on January 11. It went over new titles and updates coming to Nintendo Switch in the next few months.
- Nintendo Labo - On January 18, Nintendo revealed a new line of products called Nintendo Labo, a series of buildable cardboard toys that can interact with Nintendo Switch in various ways.
