Creatures, Inc. is a Nintendo/The Pokémon Company affiliate. It was originally founded as Ape Inc. on March 1989, before changing its name to Creatures, Inc. in 1995.

It is responsible for various Pokémon merchandise, and as Ape, Inc. was also responsible for the conception of the EarthBound series.

May also be related to the cancelled 64DD game Cabbage, with the Game Boy "insect cage" keeping animals from Cabbage inside.[4]
