Dr. Luigi, known in Japan as Dr. Luigi & Saikin Bokumetsu (Dr. Luigi & Bacteria Eradication) is a downloadable Wii U Super Mario series and Dr. Mario sub-series game.

Gameplay[edit]

Dr. Luigi was released as an alternative version of Dr. Mario during the end of Nintendo's Year of Luigi promotion. The Retro Remedy mode plays like the original version of Dr. Mario, while another called "Operation L" features capsules that can be joined together to make an "L" shape.[1] The Virus Buster returns from Dr. Mario Online Rx and is played using the Wii U GamePad. An Online Battle mode is also available.
