Adventure Island is a 1986 side scrolling platform game by Hudson Soft, based on Sega's arcade game Wonder Boy.

Known as Famicom Mini: Dig-Dug, Nintendo would publish a Japan-only port of the Famicom version for Game Boy Advance, in 2004.

Summary

The protagonist Master Higgins (Master Wigins in the UK, Takahashi Meijin in Japan) must explore Adventure Island to rescue Princess Tina from an evil witch doctor. There are eight worlds to explore with four stages each, each with a boss at the end of the world.
