| − | Bulbapedia began as an idea for a Pokémon wiki, in the style of Wikipedia, to be set up by the Pokémon community. Eventually, Bulbagarden took the initiative, with Zhen Lin establishing the wiki in December of 2004 and Bulbagarden second-in-command evkl assuming authority as its first Editor-in-Chief. Under evkl, the wiki grew from Bulbagarden's pet project to a large database of information, and he handed off control of the wiki to Zhen Lin in early 2006. Under Zhen, the wiki grew ever larger, and colors began to be added to more pages, something that Wikipedia had little of. Eventually, due to a lack of time and boredom with the Pokémon games, Zhen left the wiki under the control of TTEchidna, who proceeded to advance the wiki's style incredibly by introducing rounded corners to nearly every template, and finalizing the colors used by these templates. TTEchidna then resigned in December 2010, giving control to MAGNEDETH, who is the current Editor-in-Chief. DETH then intiated Project Overgrow II
