Nintendo Switch Online is an online service for Nintendo Switch.

The online service unlike Nintendo Network must be paid for, but for a limited time was available for free.

Video games for the Nintendo Switch with online features require a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Features

  • Users can download software that contains a collection of Nintendo Entertainment System or Super Nintendo Entertainment System games. It is updated regularly with local multiplayer and restore point (fast saving of game sessions) support.
  • Tetris 99 is a Nintendo produced game in which up to 99 players compete in Tetris at the same time. Originally there was only one mode, but additional modes were introduced in an update.
