Well, you have my offer if the opportunity ever rises.

As of today, WiKirby is back online. Don't ask me why or for how long; the period between the last downtimes was only a few days. I haven't heard anything from Adam and he didn't put an explanation on WiKirby either; I don't know if he's even responsible for getting it back online or what on earth has been happening to it. It's certainly not profiting from the downtimes and lack of clarity on them (or even certainty that they will be looked into within any reasonable amount of time or at all).
QuoteWe have xcache for opcode+object cache configured to use 16M per process of php (we run php on fastcgi). MediaWiki is also configured to use static page caching.

I think we should start a Professor Layton Wiki. It's becoming an increasingly popular Nintendo/Level 5 title and I think it deserves one.

Quote from: Malake256 on December 13, 2010, 03:04:40 AMMy vision: NIWA becomes completely boggled down in bureaucracy............. and ends up becoming nothing more than a glorified affiliation with big dreams that never come to fruitation.
Haha, it's wayyyyyyyy easier to see where NIWA is going if you have access to staff forums NIWA isn't just a hub and a forum. I wish there was a way we could show that without revealing useless info or sensitive info (like a suggested member, but not approved yet)
Quote from: Axiomist on December 10, 2010, 10:03:24 PMThat's not a MediaWiki thing, it's a HTML thing. Nothing they could do about it. :\
(like the fact that we need # that symbol in some page titles, and a lesser used one should take the place of the section urls)[/li][/list]
Quote from: Greenpickle on December 01, 2010, 09:11:22 PMThat'd be cool. Keep the same layout, but have the icons randomize in order. Because right now, I bet 90% of people will have already clicked somewhere by the time ZeldaWiki's image comes up~
Randomised order?
Quote from: tacopill on December 01, 2010, 05:44:27 AMProbably gonna be it, unless someone approaches me.
if you succeed in hosting them, will that be it, or will you take on more?
