Hi all,
A Wii Wiki has been made on ShoutWiki (http://wiiki.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page). We are looking for volunteers to help out and make a complete resource about the Wii series of games. The wiki is still tiny so any help with anything, from making articles to categories, templates and getting images, will be helpful.

We hope to become good enough to join NIWA at some point.

Both StrategyWiki and Dragon Quest Wiki are not Nintendo franchises. They are about games for consoles that aren't all Nintendo. I am therefore thinking, what makes a wiki eligible for NIWA anyway? There are other games out there that have also been on other consoles but also are on Nintendo consoles. Sure, many games of Dragon Quest are released on Nintendo consoles. However, Call of Duty games are also released on Nintendo consoles. Would this make CoD Wiki eligible for NIWA? And what about things like The Simpsons? There are many video games released for The Simpsons, some exclusively for Nintendo consoles. Would this make Wikisimpsons eligible for NIWA? I'm just asking this as people are going "Dragon Quest Wiki shouldn't be on NIWA as it's not Nintendo" etc.

Just thought i'd tell you about a Game & Watch Wiki we have set up on Wikkii and are looking for more members to contribute with the hopes of eventually going independent and joining NIWA. Any help would be appreciated.

News just in today, Lady Gaga is to guest star in the Simpsons season 23. Episode is called "Lisa Goes Gaga".

I do have one problem with the end of the game.

Every new trainer is at least level 65, where i am still in the mid-50's. I hate level grinding.

I competely agree. There is some chick with a purugly that I keep avoiding. Also, no pokemon are in white forest. I really have to sync up just for one freaking pokemon to appear?!

You wouldn't have to sync up if you completed the game fast enough. The faster you complete the game and get to white Forest, the more Pokemon you get.

Assist Trophy: Pong

Two paddles and a ball appear. The paddles keep knocking the ball around the stage, dealing damage to the characters but not the stage itself. The paddles could also be a help if you get knocked off the stage, you could hit the paddles, saving you.

If Mario Kart got permission to use pac-Man in their Arcade games, he surely could be in the next SSB game. He could even take on the form from Mario Kart. Blinky also appeared in these games so he could also be a playable character. Ms. Pac-Man and Mametchi are also playable characters from the arcade games so they could appear too. Whether they are wanted or not, that is a different matter.

Crash, Spyro and Rayman seem obvious candidates if Nintendo can get permission for them to be in a game. As are Banjo and Conker.

Then of course there is Megaman and Bomberman.

The Avatar series? Pfft. Hate it. Watched one episode. Couldn't stand it.

Best way is to experiment. Copy and paste bits of code, remove bits, add bits, until it works. That's how I learned wiki code. Now I am very good with it and can make complex tables.

That is exactly what they have done to many communities. It is not overreacting. It is telling the truth.

Big fan of Futurama too. Family Guy is funny too.

Then how vome i look at a seasoms 1-20 guide made by matt groineing himself that i study every day AND i know every story for every video game in the simpsons game series

I have the Simpsons World book sitting right next to me whenever I use my laptop. It is my very useful guide to wiki editing. I also know every plot to every game and took a quiz for Simpsons experts and got 10/15. Beat that

I can also name the episode which a guest star starred in and name the character they played off the top of my head. Next step now is to know the episode by the production code.

....What's the difference? I'm that awkward noob kid that has no idea what everyone else is talking about.

Wikia is a corrupt evil corporation who bans its users for no apparent reason, removed admin rights of users without discussion, pays people to edit its wikis after the community moves away to independence, doesn't allow the community to tell the rest of the community that we have moved and makes random updates that they think are great but everyone else thinks are crap, stupid and pointless that they then force upon the community and don't allow people to remove as they'll then ban them.

There are many wiki hosts I would use over Wikia, that is, all of them. They are, in my opinion the worst host around and any wiki that wants to stay on Wikia must have complete morons as editors and therefore deserves to be destroyed too.

Overreacting much? I am offended by such words, being an active Wikia contributor myself, and in fact a bureaucrat on one of the wikis I edit at. Maybe we can't pay for a new host, since, ya know, they cost money? Ever think of that? Wikia is free. That's why there are many wikis on it.

Did you ever think that people on wikia have feelings too? Did you know that Kirby Wikia and Wikirby are basically allies/on good terms? Wanting to destroy them is completely stupid and very pointless. You will be fighting a war you cannot, and will never, win.

I will do anything within my power to bring Wikia down and am looking for help with this. Please PM me if you want to help my cause.

Oh yes, because you will be able to take down Wikia, a large company that has millions and has control of over 10,000+different wikis, with the probably 10 people that respond. Good luck with that! You will be needing truckloads of luck!

The thing about NIWA that disgusted me the most was its anti-Wikia perception. If this crap is coming back, I don't think I want to be part of this bureaucracy.

Also, Tina basically summed up all of my opinions. All of them! The staff sucks, yes. The default skin is the worst idea, yes, but you can change it to fit your wiki.

There are many good Wikias, and hell, some of them are way better than their wiki counterparts (i.e. more information, more activity, etc...)

I am not overreacting. And being part of a group that managed to bring Wikia offline for a short period of time, I feel that the task of ruining Wikia is actually possible. Also, Wikia is not the only free wiki host out there. There are a lot of other good (good is anything but Wikia) hosts out there.

And I stand by my views. The only way you should want to stay at Wikia is if you: 1. Get along with the staff well. 2. Can't be bothered to move your wiki away. 3. Like staff making constant stupid pointless meaningless social networking changes to your wiki. 4. None of the above, i.e. you're an idiot.

OK, it's only fair if I tell you what I think of Wikia.

They are an evil, corrupt, money hungry, power abusing group of people who like to bully their editors and refuse to listen. Therefore, they deserve to be destroyed. As a member of 2 different alliances against Wikia, I have a great hatred towards them and would do anything I can to bring them down.

I make sure I have AdBlock on whenever I go on Wikia so I don't go giving them the satisfaction of getting money from my view of their stupid ads on their stupid skin.
