GameCube Vs. New Play Control

Alright, so far I've only played one, which is the GCN one, but I just wanted your opinions. I am going to trade a game (that I bought for 5 bucks ) to a friend for Pikmin So, I just wanted your guys opinions on this subject.

I haven't play NPC!, but purely since it'll be easier to keep around in years to come given Wii U's dropping GCN compatibility, maybe go for that (if you're not going to be keeping your Wii/GCN for a long time).  OTOH, the GCN one is probably more valuable...

If you're just asking about gameplay differences, then yeah, I guess NPC!'s the one to go for.
