Which Mario Galaxy is Better?

I used to think the first one was better, but Galaxy 2 has a better "2nd Game".

Throwback Galaxy was a huge disappointment to me. But at least the Star World had references to other Mario games.

I honestly thought the first one was better. The second one was way too short.

I like 'em both alot, but SMG2 just doesn't have that extra "zing" SMG had. Plus the storyline is way too short.

The first, in my opinion

Second, even though the first did have a bigger "WOW" effect on me.

the first one had more emphisis on you because it was the first game like that,   when SMG2 came out it was like you seen it before so you think its not the best.

Mario Galaxy 1 was better. It had story. Granted I'm not past World 1 in Galaxy 2, but G1 is better.

I think the first one is too but i haven't played much  of it (rented it)

I'm actually about half way through it. I've seen Chuggaa play it.
