I'm glad how the D/P anime is following the story of its games. Heck, they made a movie solely on Platinum (Giratina and the Sky Warrior). I think that Team Rocket's targets are too worthless (Pikachu -_-). They need to strive for something more rewarding.

Well, that would require changing something that has been true since the beginning of the anime, and before Pikachu was severely nerf'd. 

I too, am glad they are following the game's story better.

There should be an episode were Jessie, James, and Meowth are actually aware that they have been fired from Team Rocket.

I like when they see how incapable they actually are- by having another, more capable member beat them down.

The sad thing about Team Rocket is that they haven't really been cool since episode 2- I wonder if they'll ever be competing with more operatives who are more like Domino from Mewtwo Returns- without the the new agents becoming jokes after two episodes.

I would actually like the trio to compete against another group of Team Rocket who are just as uncool and unproductive as them.  It would be like there being two Jessies‚ James‚ and Meoths... and therefore quadruple  trouble for the heroes and Giovanni.
