I have a 2011 Toshiba Satellite P750. So much better than my old 2008 eMachines!
I blame the economy.

It's a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate.

AMD Athlon 64 dual-core processor TK-57 1.90 GHz

3 gigabytes of RAM

232 gig HD

I have absolutely no idea what the fuck any of that means.

W00T TOSHIBA! lol i'm not too much of a fan of it though. This is my first laptop (yay) and it's a Toshiba Satellite P505D-S8000 and it's a pretty good one.
More detail:
AMD Turion II Dual Core Mobile M510 2.30 GHz
4 GB of RAM (it can take up to 8 GB in all, but i'm too cheap to buy more)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
250/454 GB of HDD
Most of this I know from memory that because I get a LOT of questions like this lol.

Acer laptop (Aspire 5735):

Intel Core 2 Duo at 2GHz (T5800)
4GiB DDR2 RAM at 667MHz
Intel integrated mobile graphics that eats 1.1GiB of my RAM (4500MHD)
465GiB (500GB) HDD at 7200RPM (Seagate Momentus) (this isn't the one it came with)

running Arch Linux, and Vista for games.

It's a little over 2.5 years old now; I got it for my 18th birthday.

I have that same hard drive:)
I blame the economy.

Mine?  Nice, isn't it?  Pretty much silent, and for a laptop drive fast.  I normally don't put much in the brand when buying anything, but past experiences with Seagate have been better than other HDD manufacturers, including a couple of decade-old drives still going strong.

I'm using a HP Z210 workstation with intel core i5
