Is there anyone here who reads the Manga adaption of the Pokémon franchise?
And if so, what do you think about it?

Sorry for bump again, but I like recycling already existing topics.

I really like the original arc of Adventures. I'm hoping for rest of GS arc and beyond to get US releases.

Please give me internets! So much less bulkier than those eggs.

I love Pokémon Adventures, as cliche as it is to say this, it really is one of my favourite Pokémon mangas. Everything I've read is just quality. (I'm following the VIZ releases - up to vol 9 right now)

I used to, I have the first 6 books of the Viz translation. However I hated Viz when they decided to release Vol. 30 as a whole new and different serie, ruins my collection. I dropped it there. Pretty good actually, to bad that Viz makes the worst decisions with their licences. >:(

how is that so bad? the older volumes will catch up eventually. its not like the numbers on the spines matter.

also, late but: i kinda hate it when people call Adventures "the" manga adaptation. there's more than one and Adventures isn't any more official than the others, just more popular. (and got an endorsement from Tajiri TEN YEARS ago)

As I said, ruins my collection. I'm thinking of buying the original Japanese anyway.

i don't really understand how that ruins your collection but i guess that's not for me to decide ^^'

heh, i bought like six original Japanese volumes when i traveled to Japan, even though i can't read them XP
