that seems like an odd way to run a contest/election/etc. I can vote with multiple ips, multiple usernames, etc. i could also get people who have never played Mario before to get in an vote.

Well, you could.

Before it was restricted to one vote per e-mail, and we got like 40-70 votes per award. But with this system is around 150-300
