Ekans; in the anime, Misty accidently acquires the Pokemon. This yellow Pokemon pops out randomly to Misty's annoyance.

It could be persian (his top pet), or one of the pokemon he used in the battle against Gary:  Nidoking, Golem, or Kingler.

Surely there are plenty, almost all Poison-type Pokémon would taste bad, but I'm assuming there is a Pokémon whose Pokédex entry specifically states it.

I'm going to guess Grimer or Muk.

No. It's been shown to taste bad in the anime at least twice.
