Thing is, many aren't part of the Kong family, but the Kong species. Should these also be added to the poll?

I don't recommend it, unless we do a top-10 or something. That's 29 kongs, which is a lot of choices for a "Choose 1" situation.

But it's practically impossible to make because of complications, as was discussed in the thread mentioned. And most of it involves three Kongs in particular: Donkey Kong, Cranky Kong, and Donkey Kong Jr.
