MOTHER 1+2+3

Will MOTHER 1+2+3 ever be released? If so, what are the chances? I'd say 1-10%.

Well, with the 3DS and all coming out, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a compilation of the three games. Of course they might just get lazy and release Mother 1+2 and 3 on the virtual console, but... :V

I'd really like a 1+2+3 with updated (Mother 3-level, at least) graphics, but I think that's hoping for too much.

Also, not to complain, I hope EarthBound has a slightly better control scheme. Having A as Start, Start useless, and L as A can get confusing.

That's for Japan at least, and NOA hates Mother fans, so I would say the chance of us getting ANY mother game here is about a negative percentage.

I wouldn't give up hope for M3 being released here for the 3DS or something, Brownie Brown said something about if they re-released M3 in Japan, they'd try to get it internationally as well. M1/2, though... yeah that's never happening.

Mother 1 had a pretty weird control scheme in M1+2, too. Holding R for running, and B was the status screen. O_o Select was the status screen as well, so I didn't really see the point of that.... which is weird, because B was the running button in EB0. At least they added the L = "quick talk/check", though. Thankful for that.

Itoi posted a tweet about how happy and grateful he is that so many fans love the MOTHER series. And the tweet before that says he had just gotten out of a big meeting with Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto... SPECULATION PARTY!

Sorry for the double post, but I'm starting to really hate Reggie Fils-Aime. He says he waits for the right time to release the games. IT WAS THE RIGHT TIME 3 YEARS AGO!!!
