I got a message saying I was banned...

Hi,
Earlier when trying to access the fourms, I got this message:


"An Error Has Occurred! Sorry Solar Dragon, you are banned from using this forum!
Inappropriate behavior."

I don't know why this was and whether it was a bug or someone made a mistake. If anyone can shed some lingt on this, please do. I haven't done anything wrong and haven't received any warnings or anything.

Definitely was a bug- I got an email from a user here earlier saying they were banned as well, and when I went to investigate, I got the same message.

I'm assuming someone tried to do an IP ban and accidentally did the server IP. It's happened a couple times before.

It was a mistake, it happened to several users, don't worry.

When I saw the message I thought I had been hacked.

I got the emails and I was like, "Huh?" cause the message displayed was I think what I put for when I banned someone yesterday, but I definitely only banned one user.

Very strange, but at least it's taken care of.

Edit: It was from me, I banned a range of hostnames rather than simply just the IP. So remember kiddies, when doing IP bans on trolls, only ban their IP, not their host, because a lot of people may use the same ISP!
