The Nintendo Switch 2 is an upcoming Nintendo console that serves as the successor to the Nintendo Switch. It was first announced on January 16, 2025, and is set to be released on June 5th.
Games
The launch title will be Mario Kart World, the ninth entry in the Mario Kart series. There will also be a new Donkey Kong game titled Donkey Kong Bananza, a 3D game starring Donkey Kong that will release on July 17, 2025, and a sequel to Kirby Air Ride titled Kirby Air Riders that has an unknown release date. Switch 2 is also getting a lot of third-party games at launch like Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Split Fiction, Hogwarts Legacy and Star Wars Outlaws.[1] The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom are Nintendo Switch games remastered for the Switch 2 and coming at launch. FromSoftware is releasing a new exlusive for the Switch called The DuskBloods[2] and it shall be available at launch.
