Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the third installment in Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles series, and a sequel to the original Xenoblade Chronicles. Announced at the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, the game has currently been announced for release in 2017.[1]

Story
The game stars a new set of protagonists, with the goal of trying to reach "Elysium".[1]
Gameplay
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 uses a similar gameplay style to the previous installments, featuring players traveling across a large, open world.[1]
