BS-X: Sore wa Namae o Nusumareta Machi no Monogatari (BS-X: The Story of The Town Whose Name Has Been Stolen) is interface software for the Japan-only Satellaview service on the Super Famicom.
It also refers to a town that the player would explore using this software.
Summary
The software (like other Nintendo interface firmware such as Mobile Trainer) is not much of a game and is used for downloading games, data pertaining to those games and digital magazines, however the player does get to explore a digital town with several buildings and a beach, field, pier, telephone box, train tracks, and a talking tree. The SatellaWalker series (SatellaWalker and SatellaWalker 2) is also set here.
