This is a list of all classic games available for the Nintendo Switch Online service. Nintendo Switch Online launched properly on September 19, 2018, and currently supports two (four with a premium subscription) systems. The service began with NES games at launch, then expanded into SNES games on September 6, 2019 and Game Boy and Game Boy Color games on February 8, 2023. From October 26, 2021, users are able to purchase a premium subscription that will allow them to access Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games, which expanded into Game Boy Advance games on February 8, 2023. These games can also be accessed offline, but require a weekly online contact to keep accessing them offline.
While playing, players can access a suspend menu by pressing specified buttons. In this menu, players can create up to four restore points and rewind gameplay, two features carried over from the Classic Edition systems.
