Ball is the first game in the Game & Watch series originally released in 1980.

Gameplay
The game can be played in two difficulties: Game A and Game B. In Game A, the player must juggle two balls at a time, while in Game B, the player must juggle three balls at once. The player must move the character's arms in order to keep the balls in the air. Dropping a ball just once will result in the game ending, which is unlike later Game & Watch games where the player is given three lives.

Other releases
Another Game & Watch title called Mario the Juggler is a re-release of Ball, with Mario replacing the original juggler.

Ball is a playable game in Game Boy Gallery and can be unlocked in Game & Watch Gallery 2. Both games featured new graphical variations of Ball, but only Game & Watch Gallery 2 had the option to play the original version of the game. Ball was also re-released as a downloadable DSiWare game in 2009 under the title Game & Watch: Ball.

Ball can also be played as a mini-game in the Game Boy Camera, and as a microgame called "Game & Watch Toss Up" in WarioWare: Touched!.

A reproduction of the original Ball LCD device was released for Platinum members of Club Nintendo in Japan in 2009, and it was later made available in 2011 for Club Nintendo members in North America at the price of 1200 coins, which is more than anything else in the store.
