The Wii U Pro Controller is an accessory for the Wii U. Its purpose is to serve as an alternative to the Wii U GamePad, as it features the same buttons as the Wii U GamePad, with it only lacking the Wii U GamePad's distinctive touchscreen. The Wii U Pro Controller was designed for hardcore gamers who wanted to play their games with a more conventional controller. It can be used wirelessly, or with a wire attached.
