In the past external save storage was typically restricted to a battery, with a shorter lifespan. Net de Get: Minigame @ 100 utilized the Flash chip in conjunction with the Mobile System GB and Mobile Game Boy Adapter to download minigames from the Internet on to the Flash chip for long-lasting storage.
