  • May 18, 2016 - Nintendo of Europe have announced that five additional Nintendo 3DS titles will be joining the Nintendo Selects line on June 24.
  • May 11, 2016 - Effective May 20, the Nintendo 2DS will receive a price cut in North America, from $99.99 to $79.99.
  • May 6, 2016 - Nintendo have announced a Culdecept Revolt Direct for Japan on May 11, 2016.
  • May 5, 2016 - Nintendo have detailed their plans for E3 2016, primarily focusing on showcasing The Legend of Zelda for Wii U and NX.
  • April 27, 2016 - At Nintendo's investor's meeting, Nintendo announced that the "NX" would be released in March 2017. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U has been delayed to 2017 and announced to launch simultaneous for the NX. Nintendo have also announced that more smartphone apps will be released, including ones based on Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing.
  • April 2, 2016 - Nintendo have announced that the Nintendo DSi Shop will be closed on March 31, 2017. Points will no longer be able to be added on September 30, 2016.
