Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Ken, also known as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light is the first game in the Fire Emblem series. It was released for the Famicom, only in Japan.
Gameplay
As Marth, the player must battle throughout the Altea nation to challenge Medeus and the Dohlr Empire. Battles take place in turns, and the game includes permanent death; meaning if one of Marth's allies dies they can no longer be used.
