Satomi Asakawa is a character designer who works for Nintendo. She is responsible for many Zelda characters including Kaepora Gaebora from Ocarina of Time, the Monkeys and the giant turtle from Majora's Mask, and all of the NPCs in Twilight Princess. She is also the creator of the Piantas from the Mario series.
