Digimon

The Digimon franchise began as a virtual pet franchise similar to Tamagotchi, featuring fictional creatures known as Digimon. It has since expanded to become an international phenomenon with its own anime and video game series.

NIWA affiliate Wikimon is dedicated to documenting the Digimon franchise.

Chrono (SEIWA)

The Chrono/Chrono Trigger franchise is another, older series of originally role-playing games by Square Enix. The initial game Chrono Trigger received positive reception for its gameplay, and was followed by an obscure text-adventure Satellaview game called Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki, which was followed by a successor known as Chrono Cross partly based on the story of Radical Dreamers.

The Simpsons

The Simpsons (primarily in the West) is a worldwide phenomenon, originally an American animated sitcom by Matt Groening. It focuses on a family known as The Simpsons, and their lives in a stereotypically American society. The franchise has since expanded to include The Simpsons video games, comics, music, merchandise, and film.

Doom

Doom is a popular video game franchise by id Software originally based on the initial, popular MS-DOS game Doom in 1993. It is a first-person shooting franchise and featuring the protagonist; an unnamed space-marine who must fight monsters from hell, and an influential video game for its time.

NIWA affiliate The Doom Wiki is dedicated to documenting the Doom franchise.

Halo

Halo is a popular video game franchise published by Xbox Game Studios (a Microsoft subsidiary), originally developed by Bungee but as of more recently, other developers such as 343 Industries. It is a science-fiction first person shooter game, featuring a fictional group of soldiers known as the Spartans and the protagonist the Master Chief, who must fight in an interstellar war.

NIWA affiliate Halopedia is dedicated to documenting the Halo franchise.

Keitai Denjuu Telefang

Keitai Denjuu Telefang is a monster-battling franchise published by Smilesoft. It features creatures known as Denjuu, who can be called with a mobile phone to fight for the protagonist. The original games (Keitai Denjuu Telefang: Power and Speed) infamously received bootlegs known as Pokémon Diamond and Jade.

NIWA affiliate Wikifang is dedicated to documenting the Keitai Denjuu Telefang franchise (and other Smilesoft games).
