Coverage Question

I'm thinking it is fine to be covered, since it has Mario in it.Tacopill (Talk) 22:48, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment. I think the reason I added the tag was because it didn't actually seem to be published by Nintendo and we don't have articles on games like Mario's Time Machine per the policy, so I marked lots of games and topics that could qualify with the tag, except the Hudson Soft Wars series games.
Sometimes I wonder though (a biased opinion and it could be a big change) if we should allow any games with Nintendo-owned characters as the main protagonist on the wiki. The lines could blur at some point though, namely for those games where it might be hard to get a source if Nintendo still own the characters, and determining the methodology we might use to qualify them as "Nintendo owned" if they do. If we do this it'd be like this; Nintendo published Jump Super Stars but don't own characters like Goku, so articles on Dragon Ball games wouldn't count (silly example though), however Nintendo own the character Mario so Mario's Time Machine would if this change was made?
