Is this template for real? It's basically telling people that it's ok to copy stuff as long as there are some minor changes made to assure nobody knows it was originally stolen. When I was in school, behavior such as this this was referred to as "copying" (i.e. "cheating"), and it was rewarded with an F. I think I don't need to elaborate on how wrong this is. An authentic wiki should aspire to write their own articles from scratch and reject copying instead of encouraging it. If you want to get your wiki off the ground in a solid way, you should make sure it promotes a proper editing philosophy as early as possible, and get rid of morally ambiguous templates such as this one.

Thanks for the attention. I hope you will think about this. - 94.219.234.200 (that's Edofenrir from NIWA) 22:15, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Per Edo. Not just that, I have seen one article here copied from Wikipedia, and its creator didn't even take the time to remove Wikipedia's templates >_> --201.152.174.147 22:18, 22 December 2010 (UTC) (and this is Tucayo)
In school, I was taught it was fine copy from a source, so long as you reworded into your own language. Tacopill (Talk) 22:46, 22 December 2010 (UTC).
In my school it is awarded with a 10/100 grade. --201.152.174.147 03:43, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
You go to a funny school, Tacopill. - 94.219.232.67

If I did that in my school, I would get a call home and my mark (and the person I copied from's mark) would be split in half.--Nintendoguy1 03:52, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

It needs to mean something? I apologize, i'm not understanding what you are saying. Anyway, We still need a template that a user can place on a page they know has copied content. If we don't want to encourage people to reword it, so be it. What do i need to do to change it so it can get use? Tacopill (Talk) 22:49, 28 December 2010 (UTC).
The thing is, this template says "It's OK to copy stuff, just reword it", and that's not OK, a wiki's articles should be written by the users themselves. --201.152.174.147 21:50, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok, i've changed that. Does it look better now? Tacopill (Talk) 02:30, 30 December 2010 (UTC).
