Hello RAP, i was wondering if the file size limit could be increased to at least 5 MB? thank you, Tacopill 22:52, 5 October 2010 (UTC).
List of N Wiki concerns
Roundy incompatibility for for say all Internet Explorer versions (Seeing the Main Page under IE is uuuuugly... ;-;). IE9 will feature this, and HTML5 goodies. It's unknown when Microsoft will release the latest version.HOLD FOR TTE! DONE...?!- Template:I-gamecover (First licensing template I made).
- Change it to "Template:License/Box Art".
- If so, how will it be written?
- Destory it! (Was it replaced?)
- Change it to "Template:License/Box Art".
- Left side/categories: There are two categories that don't belong there when shown at the left: "Category:Pages needing attention", and "Templates". IN PROGRESS!
- Remove the coding that auto-lists all top categories, and manually add categories instead.
- Remove it all together (similar to Wikipedia, or that the category links are on the main page)
Left side/NIWA: The list is growing bigger...! Might be a hassle on short pages (maybe), but the ads - that will.New skin!Suggest moving the list somewhere else that can be still shown everytime you go to another page.
- N Wiki itself - a hub for all NIWA wikis? Any idea on Mel's response? HMMM.
NintendoWiki:Article_structures (created by me) - they're very nice to follow.Coolio! It seems they took it positively!Concept kept.Keep using them and update them (and adding new entries?)
N Wiki logo... where is it?!Behold! The new logo at the top left corner of the page!Use the N Wiki logo Steve (of ZP) designed - that was like months ago.Create a new logo by RAP (me)?Improve the original design?
...Or have Steve create a new design?
Pikmin Fanon logo - still doesn't have the white glow.DONEISH!!!Wiki articlesCount as actual articles, the NintendoWiki also covers NIWA information - tis the Nintendo/NIWA Wiki.Count as actual articles?Or move to "NintendoWiki:" sub-section?
- The NintendoWiki:Community portal has not been made, and even I didn't have plans for that when it started.
- Seriously - any ideas?
- NintendoWiki:Current_events - man, this hasn't been updated very much. It's siting there... just being there...
- Use as check list? Oh come-on-come-on-come-on!
Anyone in N Wiki can edit (and I mean everyone, hence the anonymous users)Leave it open for now.Keep anonymous users out of the wiki? (Follow the MarioWiki tradition)
- Help pages are very incomplete... :(
- HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Companies - companies or development?Have it planned, but not implemented yet.
Will be updated periodically. --RAP 02:14, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Comments
(comment and talk here - if you have any sayings about this or wanted to know if the task is completed)
For the anonymous editors... mixed feelings on that one. Sometimes you can get good editors, but other times the amount of spam bots overtakes the amount of anon editors actually making constructive edits. Metroidking 21:52, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. I prefer it to be read-only for anon users. Tacopill 23:22, 29 November 2010 (UTC).
- However, there are some extensions that can prove quite effective in combatting spam from anonymous users.
- Force Preview: Forces users below a certain group to preview edits before saving
- Toggle Anon Rights: Allows anyone with "editinterface" rights to revoke certain permissions from anons
- SpamBlacklist: Allows anyone with "editinterface" rights to blacklist certain links, causing the software to reject an edit that adds them
- All these are being used by StrategyWiki to mostly good effect, so they shouldn't cause issues. Moydow 01:28, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
- OOO!!! Could you add those to here? Tacopill 03:30, 30 November 2010 (UTC).
- Uh... "Alphabet Story Game"? I think you meant the extensions thread, so I'll add them there instead. Moydow 11:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ooops, sorry. Yes, The Extension request thread. Tacopill 19:20, 30 November 2010 (UTC).

I've installed those three extensions per RAP's request. Let me know if there's any problems.—Justin(Talk) 05:59, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi sir
Licensing
Add "Promotional photo" to the licenses ({{promophoto}}

Hi RAP
Hey there
I have expanded and created a lot of pages, created categories, uploaded images, and other different things. I asked Tacopill (Talk) if I should, but he said promotions had to run by you first. Do you think I deserve to be an admin/'crat? UltimatePetey 21:44, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
- Asking for a promotion would do no good; I advise against doing that. As for the edits you have made, generally there should be more edits than that. I would like to also tell you that I'm unsure about the idea for articles covering Nintendo characters, unless I'm forgetting something important about this one (it'll come to mind later) - I would've prefer leaning more to the Nintendo technical stuff such as covering video game consoles, the people who work for Nintendo, and the company itself - but I won't pressure you. Right now, I'm working on something important for NIWA, and it's going to take a week or two to clear this up. That's part of the reason why I'm not focusing much on this wiki, also summer school and RL stuff. --RAP 03:22, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Oy
So I know you want to upgrade NWiki. I do. Well, I'm gonna go ahead and offer my help, just because I know how much of a freakin' nightmare it was to upgrade ZP from 1.17 to 1.21. Over the course of the next couple weeks, I'll be reviewing the filesystem, extensions, etc. and making notes of what needs to be updated and/or changed along with the upgrade. I'm sure I'll be able to help you guys make this much smoother than ZP's update :P —Justin(Talk) 06:08, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
