About the missing series logos
About the missing series logos... they don't actually exist. Each one of them are a standalone game, in-which means that no series logo is going to be available. Unless we want to loosen the definition of "series" and allow stand alone games to be single-member series. Tacopill (Talk) 21:40, 17 April 2012 (UTC).
- Sorta confused here; why can we not have pictures of them, even if they're not series? We wouldn't have to cover them as series, we could just put the logo of the stand-alone game there and link to its article. The section doesn't even say anything about "series", it simply speaks of "coverage" and "areas of focus". There's nothing in there that implies that everything in the coverage section would have to be a series or treated like one.--Vellidragon 22:45, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Because, the template used by the editor, creates wanted file links that look for files called
<x series logo.png>
; implying, at least to me, that they were looking for it. - If the wiki covers the game to an in-depth degree, then they can transclude the game's logo, if available.

- You put the ser-logo templates there yourself, taco :p Any future editors likely just followed your example. Maybe the template should be updated (or a similar one should be made) to be able to reflect non-series games; it was evidently made with only series in mind, as nobody had yet considered a wiki might deal with a stand-alone game.--Vellidragon 02:37, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

- The R.O.B. series isn't a stand-alone game, because it includes both Stack-Up and Gyromite. Balloon Fight consists of various editions and remakes, but it also includes a sequel; Balloon Kid for the Game Boy, which was only released in North America and Europe. "Mario Co.", a joint venture between Nintendo and Dentsu (probably related to ND Cube, as ND Cube was also a joint venture between Nintendo and Dentsu), teamed up with Character Soft to create Hello Kitty World; a port of Balloon Kid for the Famicom featuring some Sanrio characters. Later, an enhanced Game Boy Color version of Balloon Kid, Balloon Fight GB was released exclusively in Japan via the Nintendo Power flash RAM service in 2000. - Missing from "side areas of focus" are series such as Card Hero, Custom Robo, Kururin and many others. If you include obscurities like Chōsōjū Mecha MG and Devil World, this becomes a lot of series. Perhaps the side-areas of focus should be condensed to what's currently being covered on SmashWiki's Universes category, though I'd like to hear what an administrator of SmashWiki says first. --Torchickens 17:45, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Currently, the page has links to series which are represented as playable characters or as a stage with a bit of a hodgepodge of remnants from Assist Trophies and musics. I'll delete the hodgepodge and redefine the list to be "everything that has been given an official series symbol". Toomai Glittershine 21:12, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
