What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA January 12, 2017 - During the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch would launch on March 3, 2017, worldwide. January 5, 2017 - In addition to the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, Nintendo of America has also announced "Nintendo Treehouse Live with Nintendo Switch", a livestream in which Treehouse plays Nintendo Switch titles showcased during the presentation, for January 13. December 11, 2016 - Nintendo have revealed Super Nintendo World, a collaboration with Universal Theme Parks, which is targeted to open at Universal Studios Japan around the same time as the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. November 11, 2016 - The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition has been released worldwide, while the Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer has been released in Japan. November 2, 2016 - Nintendo have announced a Miitopia Direct for November 5, exclusively in Japan. November 1, 2016 - An Animal Crossing Direct has been announced for November 2, 2016, focusing on the updates coming to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. October 26, 2016 - A "Nintendo Switch Presentation" has been announced for January 12, 2017, which will be streamed live.
