Shin Onigashima is a game for Famicom Disk System.
Summary
The game is inspired by Japanese folktale/tradition, like the stories of Momotaro and Princess Kaguya. It is a text adventure game starring characters Donbe and his older sister Hikari. After losing their parents and the local residents of Nagakushi village having been turned into oni, the pair must try to rescue their parents, also meeting animal helpers on the way; Ringo the dog, Matsunosuke the monkey and Ohana the pheasant.
