nintendogs is a Nintendo DS game, and the first game in the nintendogs series.
Gameplay
There are different variations of the same game, each featuring different dogs. The player is able to keep dogs as pets and play with them, walk with them, as well as take them into contests. The player can also link up with another Nintendo DS to play with that game's dog; a feature known as "Bark Mode".[1]
The versions of the game are as such: Best Friends (featuring the six most popular breeds from the last games), Chihuahua & Friends, Dachshund & Friends, Dalmation & Friends, Lab & Friends.
