Popeye trumps are Popeye branded Nintendo traditional playing cards (based on the standard 52-card deck) released in the early 1960s, as part of a San.o Popeye Ramen promotion. The cards came with a special thank you letter for purchasing the product, and congratulated the player for winning.[1]
