Bayonetta 3 is an action hack-and-slash game, and the third title in the Bayonetta series by PlatinumGames, to be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Development
Bayonetta 3 was revealed during The Game Awards 2017, immediately following the reveal of the Nintendo Switch ports of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.[2] Series producer Hideki Kamiya would explain that it was decided from the beginning that Nintendo would fund development[3], and that it was Nintendo and SEGA who decided that the game would be a console exclusive.[4]
