Sheriff is an early Nintendo arcade game, released in 1979.
Summary
The style of this game is loosely similar to Atari's Space Invaders, but with a different layout and is themed in the desert rather than outer space.
The game involves the player controlling a sheriff to shoot bandits. Once all bandits are defeated, the game will advance to the next stage.
This game is also available to play in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! but with the Sheriff replaced with Wario. The Sheriff has also made an appearance as both a regular Trophy and an Assist Trophy in the Super Smash Bros. series.
