Pokémon GO Plus is a peripheral device developed and manufactured by Nintendo for use with Pokémon GO. Originally scheduled for a worldwide release at the end of July 2016, the release was pushed back to September.[1]
Functionality
Pokémon GO Plus connects to a player's mobile device over a Bluetooth signal. The device uses an LED and vibration technology to alert the player to in-game events, such as nearby wild Pokémon. Pokémon GO Plus can also be used in the game itself; by pressing the LED as a button, the player can perform various actions, such as catching wild Pokémon.
The user can wear this device either by clipping it onto clothing, or by putting it on a wristband.
