What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA
- June 14, 2015 - Downloadable content for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U was announced in the Super Smash Bros. presentation, including Mii costumes, characters, and stages. Before the Nintendo World Championships 2015, Shigesato Itoi announced EarthBound Beginnings, released at 6 PM Pacific Time for Wii U Virtual Console, the first official release of the game in North America. Blast Ball was revealed during the championships as one of the games played by competitors.
- June 1, 2015 - Nintendo of America released a Nintendo Direct Micro discussing several smaller upcoming titles to be released for Nintendo 3DS later in 2015.
- May 31, 2015 - A Japan-only Nintendo Direct was held, mainly discussing several games to be released later in 2015.
