Wii Fit is a Wii fitness (exergaming) training game, in which players exercise with yoga, strength, aerobic and balance games. It is packaged with the Wii Balance Board. It is part of the Touch! Generations series, and it was succeeded by Wii Fit Plus.

Gameplay
The Wii Balance Board is required to play the game (with Jogging being the only exception) and it can detect the player's centre of balance, which is shown to them along with their BMI (body mass index). It also detects the player's weight.
Players use a user profile to play the game, and to make one, they need to assign their date of birth, height, and Mii character. This profile keeps track of their progress in the game. They can also assign physical activities that they've done outside of the game. Babies and pets (cats and dogs) can have user profiles, but they need to be held by a player in order to have their weight measured, and cannot play the yoga, strength, aerobic and balance games. Up to 8 profiles can be registered.
The yoga and strength training games show a fitness trainer on-screen, and the player must stand or lay on the Wii Balance Board to copy the trainer. The yoga exercises (including Deep Breathing, Tree, Sun Salutation and others) involve holding a pose or set of poses, while the strength training exercises (including Single Leg Extension, Lunge, Plank and others) involve repeating the selected exercise a certain number of times.
The aerobic and balance games are 18 minigames where the player controls their Mii. The aerobic games require more vigorous movement. In Hula Hoop, the player rotates their hips to spin hula hoops, step games involve stepping on and off the Wii Balance Board in a rhythm, and Jogging (which only uses the Wii Remote) involves the player running in place to make their Mii jog around the island. The balance games rely on the player's centre of balance. They consist of Heading, where the player tilts left and right for their Mii to head footballs (called soccer balls in North American countries), Tightrope Tension, where the player walks slowly and balanced to cross a tightrope, Table Tilt, where the player tilts their body all around to guide balls into holes on a table, and more.
Reception
The game has found success not just among gamers, but also in the context of families in general and health care related places.
It has sold over 22.67 millions copies.[1]
Cameos
The Wii Fit Trainer appears in the Super Smash Bros. series, beginning with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
