Magical Vacation is a role-playing game for Game Boy Advance and the original game in the Magical Starsign series.

Gameplay

In this entry the students of Will-O-Wisp Academy (known as "amigos") go on vacation to a seaside resort known as Valencia. After attack by an evil group known as Enigma, it is up to the player to rescue the other students. The player's party determines the type of magical attacks they can use in battle, and it is possible to trade amigos with other players.[1]

Release data

The game has only been released in Japan. On February 2nd, 2006 it was re-released for the Value Selection series.[2]

On August 19, 2015 it was re-released for Wii U Virtual Console but without multiplayer. Instead, selecting communication on the title screen gives the player magic levels at level 1 for all elements except light, as well as dark magic. Upgrades to Ricebird Springs and Amigo mojo are no longer available.
