What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA
- January 24, 2017 - Nintendo have announced a new New Nintendo 3DS XL bundle and two additional Nintendo Selects titles for Nintendo 3DS, releasing in February 2016.
- January 13, 2017 - Nintendo have announced a Fire Emblem Direct for January 18, 2017, at 2 PM PT.
- January 12, 2017 - During the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch would launch on March 3, 2017, worldwide.
- January 5, 2017 - In addition to the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, Nintendo of America has also announced "Nintendo Treehouse Live with Nintendo Switch", a livestream in which Treehouse plays Nintendo Switch titles showcased during the presentation, for January 13.
- December 11, 2016 - Nintendo have revealed Super Nintendo World, a collaboration with Universal Theme Parks, which is targeted to open at Universal Studios Japan around the same time as the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
- November 11, 2016 - The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition has been released worldwide, while the Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer has been released in Japan.
