Demo

A demo for Monster Hunter Stories was released on the Japanese Nintendo eShop on September 20, 2016. The demo allows players to play either Quest mode to experience part of the story, or Challenge mode to battle other Riders.[6]

For the game's North American and European release, a demo of the game was released on August 10, 2017, which requires 4235 blocks of space to download. The demo allows players to play through the first several hours of the game.[7][8]

In both versions of the demo, any progress, including items and monsters collected, can be transferred to the full game, which will also unlock a special Rider outfit for Navirou.
