Panel de Pon is a Super Famicom game, which is part of the Panel de Pon series, itself part of the Puzzle League series. Panel de Pon was released exclusively in Japan in the form of both a cartridge and a series of Satellaview broadcasts called BS Panel de Pon.

Nintendo Switch Online
Match colorful panels to make them disappear in Panel de Pon,
a puzzle game originally released for the Super Famicom™
system in 1995. Though this title was never translated into
English, it may seem familiar! You play by swapping adjacent
grid panels horizontally. If you line up at least three identical
panels, horizontally or vertically, those panels will disappear!
The key is to swap panels while other panels are disappearing.
That's how you get Chain Reactions! Use techniques like that to
your advantage in order to earn the high score in Time Trial—or
to send Garbage Blocks at your opponent in VS mode!
Gameplay
The game is a puzzle game featuring "magical girl"/fairy characters, such as the protagonist Lip and her signature Lip's Stick (a flower-like staff). In this game very loosely inspired by the Tetris series and other puzzlers, players rearrange colored blocks to cause them to match and eliminate them from a playing field.
The original Panel de Pon was never released outside of Japan, however, overseas regions would receive the Yoshi series and Tetris series branded Tetris Attack. Exclusive to the Japanese Satellaview service, at one point players could download a rebranded version of Tetris Attack, known as Yoshi no Panepon BS Han (Yoshi's Panel de Pon Broadcasting Satellite Version).
On May 20, 2020; the original Panel de Pon was officially released worldwide for the first time, via Nintendo Switch Online.

BS Panel de Pon
The BS Panel de Pon games were a series of Satellaview broadcasts for Panel de Pon. Distribution began slightly before the Japan cartridge release.
Gameplay
The series is similar to the base Panel de Pon game. There have been three versions of Panel de Pon distributed by Satellaview. These include Event Version 1, Event Version 2 and Event '98 Version.
- Event Version 1 details are unknown other than a screenshot
- Event Version 2 featured the following modes: Endless, Stage Clear, Event 2. The last in the list is a special timed mode against Sherbet, Seren and Cordelia
- Event '98 Version includes a one player Stage Clear mode with five stages, and a two player mode with missing character backgrounds.
