Baten Kaitos Origins is a prequel to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, released in 2006 exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube. Like the original game, the prequel comes in two discs.

Unlike the original game, Baten Kaitos Origins was published by Nintendo in all regions.
