Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo

The Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo is a smart alarm clock created by Nintendo. The device wakes up the user to sound effects and music from Nintendo games with the alarm reacting to the user getting up. The device received a soft release through My Nintendo on October 9, 2024 with a full retail release in the West on March 10, 2025 and in Japan on May 22, 2025.

Features

Alarmo functions mainly as an alarm clock with the function to react to the user physically getting up. It will play a set sequence from the chosen game with the alarm pivoting to a more serious sequence such as a Guardian chasing Link in Breath of the Wild if the user refuses to get up for enough time. To encourage the user to get up, the device will play sound effects when it detects motion from the bed. A fanfare will play once the user fully gets up.

At night, the user can play calming sound effects to assist with sleep called Sleepy Sounds. Alarmo has an hourly chime where Nintendo characters of the chosen theme interact with the time. The device can track the user's sleeping habits like how long they were in bed and their movements in sleep. As of the 3.0.0 update, the user can also configure a specific alarm type and wake-up time for each day of the week, and set how long Sleepy Sounds last from one minute to one hour.

Each supported game gets a set of alarms based on notable scenes in the game. The device launched with 5 themes with 3 additional themes downloaded as updates.
