Nintendo of America, Inc. v. Brown

Nintendo of America, Inc. v. Brown was a court case held in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. The case occurred in 1996 when Nintendo of America sued Kenneth R. Brown for copyright and trademark infringement. He along with a group of unnamed individuals committed this by producing and selling knock-off game cartridges that are similar to the games published by Nintendo. The defendant attempted to appeal the case, but when he failed to respond back after ten days, his request was denied and Nintendo won the case.
